Debbie. I hope and pray that Earl continues to do well. He is so amazng in his strength and courage. I had to find out more about you both so that we could possibly connect. You see my son was diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma in 2006 and underwent a complete Hemipelvectomy in March 2008. He battled long and hard and inspired many people. However, he passed away in August 2008. Is there a way that you could email me so that we could talk?

I hope that all goes well with Earl.

I just wanted to tell you seeing Earl's story tonight on the CBC was inspiring.

Debbie, your right that he has burned a hole in our heart. Its beautiful to see two people so deserving of love to find each other. You, Debbie, are just as inspiring as Earl.

I can't help but feel that Terry would be so proud of Earl.

Please know that we are cheering louder for Earl than any hockey game or sporting event. And he has definitely secured the MVP of our hearts!

Hello Earl and Debbie, I'm a writer just finishing up a book called Flourish: People with Disabilities Living Life with Passion (Inclusion Press). How can I not include Earl in this? The second half of the book features profiles of people in Canada, US and elsewhere who have been supported to discover and persue their passions. I think you fit this description, Earl! If you're interested, maybe we could do a phone interview sometime and you'd let me share a couple of photos? I hope to hear from you. Cheers! Karin (Melberg Schwier, Saskatoon)

Hi Debbie,
I saw the documentary last night and was moved by Earl's spirit and courage, and your's too! I pray he is recovering well from the surgery.
I am trying to add him as one my 'People Who Inspire Me' on my Facebook info page but am not able to. Some other fellow born earlier last century comes up.
Would you or any of your other blog friends know how I can add Earl to Facebook?
Sending e-hugs and get well wishes,
Theresa

After seeing Earl's story last night, i am not sure if he realizes exactly how many people are truly inspired and strengthened by his courage and giving nature. God has chosen an incredible messenger of life and those who have met him are blessed. Life is for living, and he is definitely living it! He knows what is important in life more than most of us do, we should learn from him.
Go Earl Go!!

E-hugs and kisses,

Hello! I am a teenager from Ottawa and I saw Earl's story on The National last night. It was so amazing-both you and Earl are so strong, and for Earl to conntinue to help coach the Redwings while he's fighting through this is admirable. Is it possible I could get an address where I could send you a letter? My heart goes out to you, and I only wish that there was something I could do to ease your burden.
