tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-215525701299829599.post1452711326339782561..comments2023-11-03T05:37:52.152-05:00Comments on His Name is Earl: June UpdateA Journey with Cancerhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03757042055913893908noreply@blogger.comBlogger1125tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-215525701299829599.post-74296103957591313862008-06-11T11:44:00.000-05:002008-06-11T11:44:00.000-05:00earl, debbie, & darby...i came upon your blog when...earl, debbie, & darby...<BR/>i came upon your blog when i was reading ramona's blog. i had the pleasure of meeting ramona and her family when she was in toronto for her surgery. i was diagnosed with the same type of (synovial) sarcoma as ramona and was treated by dr. ferguson at the mount sinai hospital . i can relate to earl because my tumour was in my leg (right behind my knee joint) and it made mobility difficult. after having surgery, the recovering process felt like i was learning to walk all over again, at the age of 26! i admire earl's resilience and courage. i don't spend my time wondering why this happened, but would rather live life to the fullest. i've been going to my checkups every 3 months and just a week ago, it was my 18-months 'anniversary'from the time i had my surgery. and everything looks clear. it's a haunting thought that i might have cancer again, but i remain optimistic because that's all one can really do. i believe that if your mind is in the right place, the body will heal. i'm sending my good thoughts and love to earl and your family.<BR/><BR/>- Kitty<BR/>minami_mbox@hotmail.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.com
